Implant Abutment and Crown

Completion of the implant process involves adding the abutment and crown to your already placed, and integrated implant.
The length of time for the process of integration into the bone can vary. In many cases the implant is ready to “load” with the crown in as little as 3 or 4 months. If bone grafting was done at the same time as the implant placement, we usually recommend allowing a little bit more time, around 6 months, prior to working with the abutment and crown process.
The price shown includes the lab work, implant hardware, and installation of the crown and abutment. The crown is made with zirconia material, and the abutment in most cases is titanium unless there is a special case where it’s a combination of titanium and zirconia.
In some cases gum work to improve the site of the implant could be required. For such treatments the cost for the additional periodontal treatment is not included in the crown cost.
